Oklahoma Mediators Tulsa and OKC, The Mediation Institute

The Mediation Institute of Tulsa conducts at six regularly scheduled basic mediation trainings throughout the year that are opened to everyone. In addition, our trainers will customize a training or workshop at the request of a group, agency or business.

Our primary trainer, Jim Stovall, has been training mediators throughout the state since the late 1980’s. The training is highly interactive and uses demonstrations, simulated situations, role-plays and small group exercises and activities.

Our 40 and 24 hour programs meet the requirements of the Oklahoma Mediation Act and are approved by the Oklahoma Bar Association for MCLE credit.

Family and Divorce Mediation Training ($675.00)

40 hours. *approved for 40 hours of MCLE credit by the Oklahoma Bar Association, this includes 2 hours of ethics.

Civil, Commercial,Employment Mediation Training$595.00)

Approved for 24 hours of MCLE credit by the Oklahoma Bar Assoc.

These courses meet the training requirements of the District Court Mediation Act of 1998, and are approved by the Oklahoma Bar Association for MCLE credit.

Regardless of personal growth or organizational needs our workshops cover a variety of dispute resolution topics including conflict resolution, mediation and domestic violence training. These courses focus on developing an individual understanding of conflict and approaches to disputes, basic communication and conflict skills, anger management, group dynamics, power imbalances, and maintaining neutrality (objectivity).
